Theres a lot we want to know about the itty bitty Dum Dum pop. For instance, how is it possible to pack so much fantastic fruit flavor into one tiny sucker? And speaking of which, is it even possible to eat just one? Also, where did the teeny little pops get their silly names in the first place?

While well probably never have conclusive answers for the first two, we can at least bring you up to speed on the third: Dum Dums received their moniker because the tiny, ball-shaped suckers make a great snack-sized sweet for kids. And, well, “Dum Dum” seemed like a pretty great word for a childrens snack; simple enough for any child to say, and fun in the way it rolls off your tongue. But even though these brilliantly-hued blue raspberry delights were designed with kids in mind, theres no denying the fact that theyre fun for the whole family! (Seriously.
