If you have shopped at CandyFavorites, you know we have a soft spot for anything nostalgic.

It’s not that we live in the past. On the contrary, we like to pay tribute to the candies that made candy counters great in the bygone eras, all the more so as classic candies continue to be discontinued.

We were thrilled to hear that Cup-o-Gold Candy Bars were back!

Tracing its roots back to the 1950s, this delightful combination of Almond, Rich Milk Chocolate, Coconut, and Creamy Marshmallow was predominately found on the West Coast until they weren’t, as the original manufacturer, Hoffman Candy Company, went out of business in 1989.

Fast forward thirty years or so, and the Cup-o-Gold Bar is back in our warehouse like it was decades ago! What comes around goes around!

With retro packaging and a combination of flavors and textures not typically found in standard candy bars, this is a “must-have” and a genuinely delicious candy bar that harkens back to the “golden age” of candy bars!
