Andy Capp Hot Fries are a delicious snack with an interesting history.Did you know that the Andy Capp cartoon character preceded the beloved chips by approximately thirteen (13) years? In 1958, the English Cartoonist Reg Smythe first launched the cartoon strip in the Daily Mirror. It became a cult phenomenon and to this day, it is still published in over five hundred (500) newspapers circling the globe.

It wasnt until the early seventies that the chips were introduced and, to date, the Hot Fries remain the best seller.

In 1998, this classic snack favorite was acquired by Con Agra Foods from Goodmark Foods.
