In 1949, Garrett Popcorn Shops was started by a female entrepreneur, who developed the now-famous recipes in her family kitchen. Today, Garrett is still proud to be woman-owned, were still cooking by hand in copper kettles, and we still have an unwavering commitment to premium quality and real ingredients. Thats earned us fiercely loyal fans who continue to inspire us they even created our signature Garrett Mix after combining CaramelCrisp and CheeseCorn in our Shops some 50 years ago. Its a recipe thats often copied, but never replicated.
