Organic ginger is an aromatic and wonderfully healthy root that has been used in many cuisines for centuries due to its complex and dynamic flavor profile, as well as many health benefits.
Organic ginger can be used in savory dishes as well as desserts and beverages. When cooking with ginger, a little goes a long way in adding flavor to your dishes. Just a couple of peelings of ginger will do to add impressive flavor to your stir-fry, beverages, or other meals.
Ground, grated, or sliced, ginger is a staple spice in the cuisines of India, China, Thailand, and other Eastern regions. Organic ginger has a long shelf-life and can even be frozen. Store organic ginger in the refrigerator (3-4 weeks): wrap the unpeeled ginger in a paper towel and place in a resealable bag or airtight container in the crisper drawer. Peeled or unpeeled ginger can also be frozen for several months. For whole, unpeeled ginger, wrap it in plastic wrap or aluminum foil in a freezer-safe bag. Peel and grate frozen ginger as needed.
Organic ginger provides a more intense taste, color, and juice with a stronger aroma than conventional ginger while being free of artificial or synthetic fertilizers.
