When Spider-Man was created in 1962, he defied many of the expected superheroes norms. Unlike the other comic book crime fighters at the time, he was still a teenager, yet he refused to use the condescending terms “boy” or “kid” in his alias. He wasn’t rich and didn’t have a lair, and when he first discovered his powers, he attempted to use them to earn money before he turned to fighting crime (which, incidentally, was a change motivated by guilt rather than altruism or revenge).

Yet this maverick of a superhero has withstood the test of time, and today still remains one of the worlds favorite crime fighters. Hes inspired movies, TV shows, apparel, toys, and of course, candy! This roll of bubble tape features images of Spidey on the outside of the container and a delicious, original flavored pink bubble gum on the inside! Its not quite as sticky as the webs Spider-Man slings, but its definitely much tastier.
